Te reo Maori

ngeru: cat

Māku ngā ngeru e whāngai!
I will feed the cats!

Argument

I think we should have no junk food at this school because we should be healthy.

I think we should have no junk food at Glenbrae School .  And if we get it we might have diabetes. So that we don’t come with fizzy’s. Drink till we get fat and be sick.

Now you know that we are not allowed  junk food to school because it not healthy for lunch.

Title: Tiny People

Author: Jack Lasenby

Today I read about Tiny people

I feel Happy about what I read today because they are helpful

My favourite character was Dad   because He like helping

I would feel happy if the same thing that happened to my character, happened to me because i can be helping each other

I think if the author decided to write another part to this story this is what will happen teaching other people be helping each other.

How to make an String Telephone

Make a string telephone

What you’ll need?

  • 2 paper cups
  • A sharp pencil to help poke holes
  • String.

Instruction:

  1. Cut a long piece of string
  2. Poke a small hole in the bottom of each cup
  3. Thread the string through each cup and the knots at each  end to stop it pulling through the cup
  4. Move into position with you and a friend holding the cups at a distance that makes the string tight
  5. One person talks into the cup while the other puts the cup to their ear and listens

What’s happening?

Speaking into the cup creates sound waves which are converted into vibrations at the bottom of the cup. The vibration travel along the string and are converted back into sound waves at the other end so your friend can hear what you said. Sound travels through the air but it travels even better through solids such as your cup and string, allowing you to hear sounds that might be too far away when travelling through the air.

Maths

WALT:  Find the Different volumes of a box

Today for maths  we had to get an square paper sheer 20cm by 20cm then we had to cut a box without a lid. Then we had to cut the corners and then fold the corner of 10cm.

Dogs are better then cats

I would say That Dogs are better then cats.

When dog goes around they do there own business and the dig it. They listen to there owner and do the right thing. Dogs like to play ball with the children. Dogs can help Blind people cross the road. They can hear with there own ears. They can chase after cats like they are having lot of fun

Now You can see I said that Dogs are better then cats.Image result for dogs

Argument

I agree That we should wear our Uniform because when Visitors,People and school know that we are Glenbrae School.

When we go to Tournament,Trip and show people and school  should know who we are. We can Represent our school by showing our logo on our T-shirts. When we go to sports we don’t get mixed up with other schools Uniform. Also our school can last for long using the uniforms for school.

Know you can see I have Agree with we should wear our Uniform.

This is me and my Uniform

Volleyball

Today Room 10 went to the netball courts  to play Volleyball. Then we went to meet the our coach name Toni. After that we practice holding our hands together and then hit the ball. Then we had to get a partner and practice with them over the net.

Then After that we practiced our spike witch means left foot right the jump and hit. Then with our partner we went to practice our spike. Then we went to play The real volleyball. Toni named our name number and then put us in each rows front and back of the net. Then the game started. While we were playing the other class started coming in. Then we went to class and started doing this writing.

I Felt happy because we had fun with Toni playing Volleyball.
