  1. My parents do exactly the same thing for me, too, Setaita. Aren't we lucky to have parents who inspire and support us? I think that, like Eddie the Eagle, supportive parents are the key to helping us realise our dreams. Eddie was very lucky because his mum truly believe in his ability and wanted him to realise his goal of competing at the Olympics. He must have been pretty scared the first time that he tried sky jumping but he didn't give up and continued to practice until he was good enough to make the Olympic squad.

I really like the 'Eddie the Eagle' movie because it is both inspiring and it is based on a true story. There was a man named Michael Edwards from England who moved to Europe, found himself a coach and trained every day until he qualified for the Olympic games in Calgary, Canada. I was quite young at the time but my dad remembers those Olympics and said that it was amazing to watch Michael compete.

I hope that you will take some inspiration from these movies and from Marjorie's story and pursue your dreams. You can do anything that you put your mind to!

Keep up the great work this holiday. You have only two more days of activities to go and then you will have completed the entire challenge. Now, that is inspiring!

    Cheers, Rachel :)
